Angela Lockyer
OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
Angela Lockyer has over 8 years of experience dealing with the dental industry, particularly with Sirona and Dentsply Sirona.
Initially joining a Dentsply Sirona Agency in 2014, she was soon promoted to Office Manager and later to Customer Services Director. Angela joined Abacus as Operations Director in October 2020.
Existing Dentsply Sirona clients know her abilities and trust her to answer their queries quickly and effectively.
Extremely well-organised and focused, Angela is the point of contact for all Abacus accounts, job bookings, placing orders for parts and general enquiries. She anticipates problems before they arise keeping the business running smoothly and efficiently.
In her spare time, Angela loves to spend some quality time with her daughter. Angela also loves shopping, dining out, sunny afternoons in pub gardens and cosy nights in.
Terry Fagan
DIRECTOR
Terry Fagan has been involved in the IT industry for over 26 years. His early experience included simple workgroups to multi-site VPN trusted domain networks, single server, multi-server, virtual machines and peripherals.
He moved his focus to the dental industry in 2009 and three years later, he began training at Sirona, in Germany, covering all the main aspects of the Dentsply Sirona range including Treatment Centres, Cerec & inLab. Terry has now become a specialist in the field of Digital Imaging, in particular, all historical versions of Sidexis and the Orthophos range of X-ray devices.
Terry’s expert knowledge of Dentsply Sirona Digital imaging combined with his comprehensive IT background enabled him to form Abacus Dental Services in April 2020, creating a company that would provide a higher level of sales and support.
In his spare time, Terry enjoys spending time with his kids and watching movies, including Marvel, DC and Star Wars and the list goes on…
Simon Beer
HEAD OF DESIGN & MARKETING
For over 28 years, Simon Beer, a graduate of the acclaimed Norwich School of Art, has taken each project from creative brief to the finished product, many delivered solo, and he is equally happy to work as part of an efficient team, like Abacus.
His professional career began in 1994 with Packaging, POS and Print, then Brand Identity and Web Design. Working closely with clients, his knowledge and skills expanded into video, DVD design and new languages for the ever-changing HTML environment.
Simon joined Abacus as Head of Design and Marketing in February 2022, creating a new department and offering a suite of design skills to our clients.
Japanese culture has always fascinated me, from their miniature world to the martial arts of Karate and now Aikido, which has become a key part of my life. I love cinema, though gaming has always been a passion from the golden days of ZX Spectrum to PS4.
